Next Booster Club meeting is September 13th

Can you believe that the first game is less than 1 month away?  I sure can't.  We do have some house cleaning to take care of.  First, don't forget that the fundraising has to be completed prior to August 18 th . That includes both Boosters and Football. Your players will be receiving their book to sell from Coach Z sometime in the first week of practice. If your player worked a full shift at the car wash, they are at least half done. Each player is being credited 50.00 for a complete shift. If they worked both, they are done for the boosters. If you are not sure, please email me and I can check. It is not too late to sell advertising. Just call Gina Stepek for more details. Your team moms will be calling/emailing you in the next week to set up a schedule for popsicles for two a days. We will need help for a lot of things including putting up the field signs and building our new merchandise booth. If you can help, please email me and I will give you details. The first varsity game vs. Lowell is going to be huge. We will need help with selling 50/50 tickets. This could be a big money maker for us. If you can help, please let me know. Don't forget about the picnic and the Blue/Silver scrimmage on the 14 th of August. There will be a flyer going home with your player and I will also be forwarding one as well. There is a lot of new stuff this year. I am looking forward to it. This is always a fun time for all.

Volunteers are still needed to work the concession stand.  For those of you who don't know we run the concession stand on the visitors side of the field and we are open for the Varsity Games only.  We have (4) home games this year plus the 4-way scrimmage. 

The 4-way scrimmage runs all day, all three squads play, on Thursday, August 19 from 10am to approximately 5pm.  Volunteers are needed on that day from: 9:15-12 (freshman game); 12-2:45 (JV game); 2:45-5(?) (varsity game).  I currently only have volunteers for the freshman game, needing 3 more.  I need 5 volunteers for each the JV and varsity games.

Our home games are: 8/26 vs. Lowell; 9/2 vs. Novi; 9/10 vs. Kettering; 10/1 vs. Mott (also Homecoming).  I need 3-4 more volunteers per game.  You would be needed for approximately 3 hrs per game (6-9pm).

Please check your calendars and let me know if you can come help out.  It isn't hard work, but many hands are needed.  Thanks for you help.
